Feature attractions in our area are the
Jeffers Petroglyphs, where you will find unique Indian carvings on hard red rock; the Red Rock Dells County Park, with a distinctive waterfall; and the Schoper-Bush Reservoir, a man-made lake behind an earthen dam constructed for flood control but with many recreational uses.

Park and Recreation

The city park features a new tennis court and basketball court, a park shelter, restrooms with running water, a new volleyball court, and extenxive playground equipment. There is a Ruritan sponsored softball field in the northeast corner of the city and baseball and football fields west of the high school.
